Business Development Intern

3 months internship

Based in Boston, USA.

Based in the Boston office, the summer intern will be supporting the business development team by working on a number of projects, including but not limited to:

Build a disease area landscape, including an understanding of epidemiology, diagnosis, segmentation, and level of unmet need;

Secondary research on given disease area, including pathophysiology, genetics, appropriate animal models, current and evolving treatment landscape, and assessment of clinical trials;

Support any ongoing internal and external diligence efforts working with the BD group;

Assess competitive landscape for a given disease area to help our teams understand the relative strengths and weaknesses of our programs.

Your profile:

You must be currently enrolled in a U.S. Graduate program (PhD, MD, MBA, PharmD, Masters).

A background in biomedical sciences is required, including previous studies or experience related to biotech and/or pharmaceuticals.

You have an ability to read multiple scientific or medical papers quickly and proficiently and interpret results with a critical eye.

You are able to work remotely and independently with high accountability and excellent responsiveness.

Initiative and “self-starter” attitude strongly valued.

You have excellent organization skills, strong written and oral communication skills.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including high proficiency with both PowerPoint and Excel.

This position is based in Boston, MA. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we may ask the summer intern to work remotely.
